Litoral Hotel respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, which personal data is processed when you visit this website and what your rights are under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD).

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the data processed on this website is Litoral Hotel, established in Arroio do Sal, RS, Brazil. For any matter related to personal data, contact us through the channels listed in section 7.

2. What data we collect

This is an informational website and it does not store form data: the availability form only assembles, in your own browser, the message you will send via WhatsApp — the dates and number of guests you enter are never sent to or stored by this site. The data that may be processed is:

  • Browsing data — technical records generated automatically by the hosting server (IP address, date and time of access, pages visited), used exclusively for the security and operation of the site;
  • WhatsApp contact data — if you choose to talk to us through the WhatsApp buttons, the conversation happens in the app, under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. We receive the information you decide to share (name, phone number and message content) and use it only to reply to you and arrange your booking.

3. How we use the data

  • To reply to the contacts and booking requests you initiate;
  • To keep the site safe and running;
  • To comply with legal obligations that apply to the hotel business.

The legal bases for this processing are pre-contractual steps for the accommodation agreement (art. 7, V, LGPD), legitimate interest in site security (art. 7, IX) and compliance with legal obligations (art. 7, II).

4. Cookies

This website currently does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If audience measurement tools are adopted in the future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested where required by law.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your data. The site is hosted by an infrastructure provider engaged by the hotel, which processes technical records on our behalf. WhatsApp conversations are processed by Meta Platforms under the app’s own policy.

6. How long we keep data

Technical access records are kept for at least 6 months, as required by the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework. Booking conversations are kept for as long as needed for service and the legal obligations of accommodation.

7. Your rights and how to reach us

The LGPD grants you, among others, the rights to confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, deletion and information about sharing.
